OPEN HOUSE PRESENTS : Boundaries
On Sunday, 12/17/17, at OPEN HOUSE (4419 Stateline Road, KCMO) I organized a screen-reading event as part of an ongoing RCMA video library installation. Readers performed in the neo-benshi style, set to VHS recordings found in one Kansas City woman's basement. Featured below is an excerpt from Artist & Writer Flannery Cashill’s reading. You can view the entire performance here.

ABOUT OPEN HOUSE
Open House was an experimental and collaborative neighborhood arts project located inside a single-family house in KCMO. They provided space for artists to explore their practice, a platform for immersive experiences, encouraged collaboration, and helped stage communal gatherings. Open House is no longer in operation.
